Literature: Beatrice and Virgil

Good morning dearest readers, and I hope you are all planning a wonderful day since many of you are probably only starting your summer vacation now. This morning's entry is a short and sweet book review about my latest Yann Martel novel.
The book is called Beatrice and Virgil (as per the title of the entry) and I have to admit that it turned into a one-a-dayer and it was a day well spent. The story addresses the issue of animal extinction while using a more serious and well known tragedy. It's described as a story within a story, and the story whitin the story is told through the perspective two animals; a howler monkey and a donkey.
If ever you want a good read, pick it up but I'm warning you that it does have some disturbing content. If you prepare yourself, I can garantee that it will be one of the most memorable reads that you've ever done. So open your eyes and open your mind to the ideas of a world of wonder.
